Image Captures

The meeting point is lit up the most out of all the spaces, this is because it is where the clients spend their time together, making the space more powerful.

I wanted to keep the elevator simple, just using the 3 L-shaped prisms, because this shows that the clients can access the meeting point and their respective offices without difficulty.

From the other side of the bridge, the meeting point stands out even more as it is contrasted with the darkness of the bridge. Again, this is to emphasise that it is a more powerful space, having two extremely powerful people occupy it instead of just one

Again, the elevator pathway is simple, for the same reason as why the elevator itself is simple.

The entrance to Zhang Yin's office is textured in simple concrete, in order to create the impression that something more powerful is hidden behind it.

There is a corridoor leading up to the office, in order to create a sense of curiosity as to what the eventual space will be.

The actual office is round, as opposed to the corridoor, to signify Zhang Yin's difference to everyone else. The floor and walls are textured in black and white, while her desk is a light brown, representing cardboard boxes (her rise to power) and contrasting with the walls and floor.

The office has a skylight, in order to let in as much natural light as possible, again opposed to the corridoor, which has minimal natural lighting.

The entrance to Carlos Slim's office is again textured in simple concrete, for the same reason as stated above.

Slim himself has his own special entrance to the office - "stepping stones" which represent every step he has taken to rise to power.

The entrance space to Slim's office is textured in simple black and white - the reason for which will be stated ahead.

The entrance leads to a balcony, and a wall is extended to create a small opening to the office, which will force the viewer to enter the office and view it from the front, instead of from behind.

The office walls are red, contrasting with the outside entry space, again to emphasise Slim's difference to everyone else. Red also represents fire, which is extremely powerful. Slim's desk sits on a platform with stairs leading up to it, subtly suggesting that he is a "king" of some sorts.

Slim has a view of most of the outside world from the desk, emphasising his power.

This is Slim’s separate entrance, on the opposite side of the office as the “normal” entrance, again signifying his difference from everyone else.
